Invitation to contribute to Viewpoints

  For the November 2009 issue

Deadline: July 30, 2009



The NRF, A United Nations Sustainable Development Journal is inviting  
your

views on the following question for the Viewpoints section of the  
November

2009 issue:






The Viewpoints section offers a platform for academics, practitioners  
and

experts to share their individual perspectives and to feature these  
perspectives

alongside other thoughtful responses in the journal.

Each entry should be 200 words or less addressing the above question.  
When

submitting a contribution, please also provide your name, title,  
affiliation and

contact details.

Our Editorial team will work closely together with the Editorial Board

Members and Advisors to select those contributions that address an  
important

dimension of the debate. We encourage responses from different regional

perspectives and from a broad range of disciplines, ensuring the right  
balance

of perspectives.

The deadline for submission to the Viewpoints for the August 2009  
issue is: 30th July 2009. The Editorial team looks forward to  
receiving many contributions.

The NRF, A United Nations Sustainable Development Journal calls for  
papers for a

new series on Sustainable-

Consumption and Production Patterns, Transport, Chemicals, Waste  
Management and Mining - themes of the United Nations Commission of  
Sustainable Development at its 18th and 19th sessions-over the  
2009-2011 period.

In addition, the journal will be dedicating special sections to  
selected topics in the following issues of the series:

                                  and production

Sustainable development researchers and practitioners interested in  
participating in this series are invited to visit the journal's

Papers based on original research that is relevant to policy making in  
the above

mentioned fields, from a sustainable development perspective, are  
welcome.
