Short Course:  Proposal & Grant Writing and How to Design Scientific  
Posters
13 - 14 July 2009

The CGIAR Gender & Diversity Program is assisting the Training Centre  
in Communication (TCC) in distributing the announcement on the short  
course on Proposal Writing and Grant Management & How to Design  
Effective Scientific Posters to  be held on 13-14 July 2009 at Chiromo  
Campus, University of Nairobi, Kenya.

Aim:  The workshop aims to assist participants develop skills  
necessary for designing scientific posters, as well as preparing and  
presenting them at national and international conferences. On Proposal  
writing and grant management this will be useful to   those who intend  
to submit proposals to grant giving organizations. Participants will  
be able to discuss their own posters and  draft proposal as well as  
those of other participants’.

Significance: The course is suitable for researchers and PhD/MSc  
students who intend to design and present posters at national and  
international conferences; plus those who intend to submit proposals  
to grant giving organizations.

  I.       Two day course (Full
