 From UgaBYTES.

Gabula Atudde Telecentre is located about forty five minutes drive from
Down Town Kampala. From humble beginnings as a rural women's group in
1976
the telecentre has grown in heaps and bounds into an association that
has
not only received many accolades both locally and internationally but
has
helped women with no formal employment regardless of education level and
social backgrounds from Kawuga village in Mukono District . It is an
organized community that seeks to empower women with skills so that
they can
engage in income generating activities within the safety of their house
holds.

Gabula Atudde is a Luganda connotation that means that 'The Pro active
are
part of the solution; the passive remain a problem'. Read
